Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel is an approaching train, and that's actually the desired outcome. 110th Street, tired after our vertical tour of St. John's, preparing to head downtown and back out to Jersey.

Graffiti is everpresent in the subway system, but this station had more of it than the others I'd seen. There were times that I looked around me and wondered if the station was managing to stay more than a half-step ahead of the chaos of vandalism. It was difficult to repress the sneaking suspicion that I was actually on a movie set of an Abandoned Subway Station.
