Both Dave and Jenny are musical, so it made sense to include musical motifs whenever possible

Quilting design: fleur-de-lis

Dave spent two summers as part of a DCI (Drum Corps International) corps whose emblem was a fleur-de-lis, so there was no question whatsoever -- that emblem needed to be on the quilt!
